CS Lawyers is a commercial legal practice based in Sydney CBD, Australia. The purpose of setting up this practice is to look after predominantly Chinese clients investing and operating business ventures in Australia. With its excellent service and extensive knowledge, customers experience reliable, professional, efficient and genuine legal assistance. Nexty’s team was approached to provide CS Lawyers brand design, advertising, website design and development plus other services. Our intention was to break through the traditional image of seriousness and distance of law firms, instead, to convey the passion and attitude of this brand.

During the rebranding process, our designers re-constructed the logo by making many detailed corrections on features such as the font and the proportion of the graphics, while simplifying the visual elements. We added the colour ‘mulberry’ to the rather cold black and white colour system they previously had, to insert a sense of calmness and dedication and to deliver a more personalised content of the brand. The use of italic typeface with serif, achieves a friendlier and smarter visual experience.

In the process of website design and development, our interactive designers drew visual elements from the brand design, applied the brand colour ‘mulberry’ to emphasis on CTA (call to action) buttons and introduced tones of grey to work as the secondary colour scheme.

We also applied a clear arrangement of information and relevant imagery. All these details emphasise professionalism and discipline, while providing friendly, intuitive user experiences. As for lawyers, to evoke ‘imagination’ might not be the core objective the brand image contains, instead, to deliver the concept of characteristics of honest, practical, sustainable, smart legal service, is the focus of the visual language.
